Ingredients

2 lobster tails

12 large sea scallops

1/2 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, stopping at the tail without cutting through it. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell. This makes the lobster more visually appealing when cooked.

Season Lobster Tails: In a small bowl, mix together melted butter (about 1/4 cup), minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Brush this garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.

Bake the Lobster: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. Baste with more garlic butter halfway through cooking.

Sear the Scallops: While the lobster is baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the remaining 1/4 cup of butter. Once melted and bubbly, carefully add the scallops. Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest while cooking.

Finishing Touches: Once the lobster and scallops are cooked, remove from heat. Drizzle any leftover garlic butter from the baking sheet over the scallops and lobster for added flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Arrange the lobster tails and scallops on a serving platter, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 2

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the lobster and scallops on a large white platter, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. This colorful presentation will highlight the beautiful colors of the seafood and make the dish inviting.
