Ingredients

4 lobster tails

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Start by using kitchen scissors to cut through the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shells to expose the meat.

Preheat the Broiler: Set your oven’s broiler to high heat and allow it to preheat while you prepare the garlic butter mixture.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine the flavors.

Season the Lobster Meat: Brush or spoon a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat in each tail. Reserve some of the sauce for basting later.

Broil the Lobster Tails: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Broil them about 6-8 inches from the heat source for 8-10 minutes. Halfway through, baste the lobster meat with additional garlic butter.

Check for Doneness: The lobster meat should be opaque and firm. If it’s not done, continue to broil for another 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Serve: Remove the lobster tails from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm with lemon wedges and the remaining garlic butter for dipping.
