Ingredients
1
lb
Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4
cloves
garlic, minced
3
tablespoons
olive oil
1
teaspoon
dried thyme
1
teaspoon
dried rosemary
1
teaspoon
sea salt
0.5
teaspoon
black pepper
1
tablespoon
balsamic vinegar (optional for a tangy finish)
1
bunch
fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts and minced garlic.
Drizzle the olive oil over the Brussels sprouts and mix well to coat evenly.
Add the dried thyme, rosemary, sea salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Toss again to ensure the Brussels sprouts are well seasoned.
Spread the Brussels sprouts mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are crisp-tender and golden brown.
If using, drizzle balsamic vinegar over the Brussels sprouts in the last 5 minutes of roasting for added flavor.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Balsamic vinegar is optional for a tangy finish.
