Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon instant yeast

1/2 cup warm milk (about 110°F)

1/2 cup warm water (about 110°F)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Extra butter for brushing

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, mix the warm milk and warm water, then add the softened butter and minced garlic. Stir until the butter is melted and the ingredients are combined.

Pour the garlic mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a shaggy dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, covering it with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Divide it into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

Place the shaped dough balls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, leaving a little space between each roll. Cover with the damp cloth and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg to give them a golden color.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Remove from the oven and immediately brush with melted butter. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours | Servings: 12 rolls

                            - Presentation Tips: Serve warm on a rustic wooden board, and add a small bowl of garlic herb butter for an extra touch.
