Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat thoroughly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare Skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Assemble the Skewers: Insert the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). The chicken should have nice grill marks and be golden-brown.

Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving. These skewers are perfect with a side salad, pasta, or grilled vegetables.
