1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces

4 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Marinate the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss until well coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2 hours for more flavor).

    Prepare the Skewers: If using wooden skewers, ensure they are soaked in water to prevent burning. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

      Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, ensuring they are evenly spaced.

        Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

          Add the Parmesan: During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the skewers and close the grill lid to allow it to melt slightly.
