Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup water

4 large eggs

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter and water. Stir until the butter has melted completely.

Once the mixture begins to simmer, add the flour all at once and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until a dough forms and pulls away from the sides of the pan. This should take about 2-3 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and let the dough cool slightly for about 5 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

Stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Using a piping bag or a teaspoon, scoop out small dollops of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
