Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cups diced potatoes (fresh or frozen)

1 can (15 oz) mixed vegetables, drained (or 2 cups fresh mixed veggies)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef and onion mixture with the diced potatoes, mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine everything.

Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.

Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Final Bake: Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes uncovered, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown and the potatoes are cooked through.

Serve: Let it cool slightly, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes | Servings: 6-8 servings
