Ingredients

1 can crescent roll dough

8 slices of deli ham

8 slices of mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

1 egg (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles as per the perforations.

In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs.

Lay out 1 slice of ham on each crescent dough triangle, followed by a slice of mozzarella cheese on top.

Spread a thin layer of the mustard mixture on top of the cheese for extra flavor.

Starting at the wide end of the triangle, roll the dough up tightly around the ham and cheese.

Place the rolled sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced out.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the top of each ham and cheese stick to give them a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Once out of the oven, let them cool slightly and garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color.
