Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes

1/4 cup unsalted butter

3 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Start by patting the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a nice sear. Season the cubes lightly with salt and pepper.

Make the Glaze: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

Add Honey and Flavorings: Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and grated ginger into the garlic butter. Mix well and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Cook the Salmon Bites: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a bit of oil (if needed) and then place the salmon cubes in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip the bites gently using a spatula.

Coat and Cook: Once flipped, pour the honey garlic glaze over the salmon bites. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, occasionally spooning the glaze over the top, until the salmon is cooked through and caramelized.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for color and freshness. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.
