Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cups cooked jasmine rice

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 bell pepper (any color), sliced

1 cup snap peas

3 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Season the sliced flank steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 2-3 minutes or until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Pour in the honey and soy sauce, stirring well to mix. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the sliced bell pepper and snap peas. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combine Beef and Rice: Return the cooked steak to the skillet, adding the cooked jasmine rice. Stir everything together, ensuring the rice is coated in the honey garlic sauce.

Incorporate Butter: Add the butter and mix until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning by adding more salt and pepper if needed.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top for garnish.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the dish directly from the skillet for a family-style meal, or plate it individually, drizzling some extra honey garlic sauce over the top for added flavor. Enjoy!
