Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons fresh lime juice

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lime zest

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, lime zest, salt, and black pepper until well-combined.

Arrange Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a baking dish.

Add Marinade: Pour the honey-lime garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring each piece is well-coated.

Bake the Salmon: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Broil for Finish: Remove the foil and switch the oven to broil. Broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes to give it a slight caramelization on top, watching closely to prevent burning.

Serve: Carefully remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve garnished with fresh cilantro or parsley and lime wedges on the side.
