Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lime zest

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, and lime zest until well combined.

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.

Season each fillet with salt and pepper, then generously pour the honey-lime garlic butter mixture over the salmon.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top, if desired. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro or parsley, and serve with lime wedges on the side.
