Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (skinless)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

4 large sheets of aluminum foil

Lime wedges, for garnish

Extra cilantro leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the foil: Lay out 4 sheets of aluminum foil, about 12 inches wide. Place a salmon fillet in the center of each piece of foil.

Brush the salmon fillets generously with the honey-lime mixture, ensuring an even coating over the top of each fillet.

Sprinkle the chopped cilantro evenly over each salmon fillet, allowing the cilantro to coat them.

Fold the foil over the salmon fillets, creating a sealed packet. Make sure to crimp the edges tightly to keep the juices inside.

Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Carefully open the foil packets, watching out for steam, and serve the salmon directly from the foil or transfer it to serving plates.

Garnish with lime wedges and extra cilantro leaves for a fresh touch.
