2 cups elbow macaroni

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon black pepper (or to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cups chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon salt

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.

      Make the Sauce: In the same skillet with the chicken, reduce the heat to medium and add the honey and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the honey to caramelize slightly.

        Combine Cheese and Broth: In a separate saucepan, heat the chicken broth over medium heat. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

          Mix Everything Together: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, honey pepper chicken, and cheese sauce. Mix until everything is evenly coated.

            Bake (optional): If you prefer a baked version, transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with additional cheese and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
