Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup lump crab meat, picked over for shells

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)

Tortilla chips or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Using a hand mixer or a spatula, blend until smooth and creamy.

Add the Flavors: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.

Fold in the Crab: Gently fold in the lump crab meat, taking care not to break up the chunks too much. You want to keep some nice pieces for texture.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the dip mixture into a medium-sized baking dish, smoothing out the top with a spatula.

Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and slightly browned on top.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired. Serve hot alongside tortilla chips or slices of baguette.
