2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder

1 tablespoon hot water

1 cup milk (dairy, almond, or oat)

1-2 tablespoons brown sugar (adjust to taste)

Ice cubes

A pinch of sea salt

Optional: whipped cream for topping

Prepare the Matcha: In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any lumps. Add the hot water and whisk vigorously using a matcha whisk or a small whisk until frothy and fully dissolved.

    Dissolve Brown Sugar: In another bowl or cup, mix the brown sugar with a splash of hot water (about 1 tablespoon) until fully dissolved to create a brown sugar syrup.

      Combine Milk & Matcha: In a separate glass, fill it with ice cubes. Pour in the milk and add the dissolved brown sugar syrup. Stir well to combine.
