Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1 package of pre-made croissant dough (8-10 croissants)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with the grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese, mixing well.

Unroll the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface and separate the triangles.

Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese filling at the wider end of each triangle. Roll up tightly, starting from the wide end, and bend into a crescent shape. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Once baked, allow the croissants to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 8-10 croissants

                        - Serving Suggestions: Serve warm as an appetizer or snack, alongside a tangy dipping sauce like homemade BBQ or a spicy aioli for an irresistible treat.
