Ingredients
  

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Olive oil (for drizzling)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

      Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

        Layer the sliced pepperoni and bell peppers on top of the cheese.

          Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning evenly over the top.

            Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, forming a log. Pinch the ends to seal the Stromboli securely.

              Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

                Brush the top of the Stromboli with the beaten egg and drizzle a little olive oil for a golden finish.

                  Cut a few slits on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape during baking.

                    Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is cooked through.

                      Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
