Ingredients

1 package (16 oz) Italian bread dough (store-bought or homemade)

6 oz sliced salami

6 oz sliced pepperoni

6 oz sliced ham

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cup sliced black olives

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with a little olive oil.

Roll out the Italian bread dough on a floured surface to fit the bottom of your baking dish. Place it in the dish, pressing it evenly across the bottom and slightly up the sides.

Layer half of the salami, pepperoni, and ham evenly over the dough.

Sprinkle half of the provolone and mozzarella cheese over the meat layers.

Add a layer of sliced red onion, green bell pepper, and black olives.

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper evenly over the top of the vegetables and cheese.

Add the remaining slices of salami, pepperoni, and ham, followed by the rest of the provolone and mozzarella cheese.

Fold the dough over the top, pinching the edges to seal, or you can leave it open-faced if you prefer a cheesy topping. Brush the top with olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
