Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

1/4 cup Jack Daniels BBQ sauce (alcohol-free option)

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices cheddar cheese

4 hamburger buns (preferably brioche)

Lettuce leaves (for serving)

Tomato slices (for serving)

Pickles (optional, for serving)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a small indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing while cooking.

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a grill, clean and oil the grates to prevent sticking.

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium-rare or until they reach your desired doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, covering it with a lid to melt the cheese.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers: on the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cheesy patty, a slice of tomato, and pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy your Jack Daniels BBQ Burger!
