1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups beef broth (low sodium)

2 cups cabbage, shredded

1 cup sauerkraut, drained

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Brown the Meat: In a large pot over medium heat, add the ground beef or turkey. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

    Sauté the Aromatics: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

      Add Broth and Veggies: Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the shredded cabbage and sauerkraut. Let it cook for about 5 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
