Ingredients

4 cups water

3 bags of black tea (or 3 tablespoons loose leaf)

1 cup pineapple juice (fresh or canned)

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)

Fresh pineapple slices and lemon wedges for garnish

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags (or loose leaf tea in a teapot). Let steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your strength preference.

After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the honey (or sugar) until fully dissolved.

Allow the tea to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

Once cooled, pour in the pineapple juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice, mixing well.

Transfer the mixture into a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemony pineapple iced tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh pineapple slices, lemon wedges, and optional mint leaves.
