Ingredients

1 lb frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup nacho cheese sauce

1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey (seasoned with taco seasoning)

1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup sliced jalapeños

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the tater tots (usually around 425°F or 220°C).

Spread the tater tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.

Meanwhile, in a skillet, heat the seasoned ground beef (or turkey) over medium heat until warmed through, then set aside.

When the tater tots are finished, remove them from the oven and top with the cooked ground meat, black beans, diced tomatoes, and sliced jalapeños.

Drizzle the nacho cheese sauce over the top, followed by a generous sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.

Return the loaded tater tots to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Top with dollops of sour cream, chopped green onions, and fresh cilantro for garnish.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
