1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 cup cold water

1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

3 cups heavy cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 ripe bananas, sliced

1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and cold water, whisking until smooth.

    Add the instant vanilla pudding mix to the milk mixture and stir until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

      In another mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until soft peaks form.

        Once the pudding mixture is set, gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding until no streaks remain.

          In a large serving dish or individual cups, layer the vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and the pudding mixture. Start with a layer of wafers, followed by bananas, then pudding; repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a pudding layer on top.

            Crush some vanilla wafers and sprinkle them on top for an added crunch.

              Chill the banana pudding for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
