Ingredients

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup white wine (optional)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the baking dish: In a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, fresh thyme, and rosemary, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the tomatoes: Toss in the halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing them to soften slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Make the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and white wine (if using). Stir to combine everything and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Season the salmon: Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Carefully place them in the skillet, skin-side down, ensuring they’re nestled in the creamy sauce.

Bake the salmon: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Finish with lemon: Once done, drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon before serving.

Serve: Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy your romantic and delicious Marry Me Salmon!
