Ingredients

1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa)

1/2 cup coconut cream

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

1/4 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)

1/4 cup finely chopped nuts (e.g., almonds or hazelnuts)

Instructions

Begin by heating the coconut cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer, but do not allow it to boil.

Remove the saucepan from heat and add the dark chocolate chips to the hot coconut cream. Allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes to melt the chocolate.

Once melted, stir the mixture gently until smooth and fully combined.

Add the ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to the mixture, stirring until well incorporated.

Transfer the chocolate mixture to a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.

Once the mixture is set, use a melon baller or small scoop to portion out small amounts of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls with your hands.

Roll each truffle in cocoa powder or the finely chopped nuts to coat.

Place the finished truffles on a parchment-lined tray.

Refrigerate the truffles for another 30 minutes to firm them up before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes (includes cooling time) | Servings: 12-15 truffles

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the truffles in a decorative box or on a beautiful serving platter, and consider dusting with extra cocoa powder or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top for an elegant touch.
