Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 large egg

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)

1 tablespoon olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion has softened and becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, Worcestershire sauce, milk, dried oregano, sautéed onion and garlic mixture, salt, and black pepper.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spatula until well combined. Be careful not to overmix as this can lead to a denser meatloaf.

Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a nice loaf. Spread ketchup evenly over the top for glazing.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 165°F (75°C) on a meat thermometer.

Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve slices of meatloaf on a bed of mashed potatoes or beside steamed green beans for a complete meal. Garnish with additional parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for an attractive finish.
