Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

12 slider buns

6 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half

½ cup dill pickles, sliced

½ cup ketchup

½ cup mustard

Fresh arugula or shredded lettuce for garnish

Instructions

Prep the Beef: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty, slightly larger than the size of the slider buns as they will shrink while cooking.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once heated, add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place half a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Toast the Buns: While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the Sliders: Spread a little ketchup and mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cooked cheese patty on top, followed by a couple of pickle slices and a handful of arugula or shredded lettuce. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve & Enjoy: Arrange the assembled sliders on a platter. Serve immediately with extra ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 sliders

                - Optional Presentation Tips: Place the sliders on a wooden serving board or slate platter. You can add small toothpicks to hold them together neatly, and garnish the board with extra pickle slices and a small bowl of dipping sauces for an appealing look.
