Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ½ cups provolone cheese, shredded

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced sirloin steak and cook until browned, roughly 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until they become soft and translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the penne pasta to the skillet, followed by the beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 12-15 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once the pasta is cooked, return the browned steak to the skillet, stirring everything together.

Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese evenly over the top. Cover the skillet again for 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Give everything a gentle stir to combine the melted cheese into the pasta.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
