Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

1 bell pepper, diced (any color)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

2 cups elbow macaroni

4 cups beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess grease.

Add Vegetables: Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the pot. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and the peppers are tender. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (with juices), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.

Incorporate Pasta: Add the elbow macaroni and stir well. Cover the pot and reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the macaroni is cooked al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Add Cheese (Optional): If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Cover the pot to let the cheese melt.

Serve: Once the macaroni is cooked and the dish is bubbling, remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
