Ingredients
  

1 lb (450g) cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded

1 cup basil pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)

12 slider buns (dinner rolls work too)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

    Prepare the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken with the basil pesto. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.

      Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Set aside.

        Assemble the Sliders:

          - Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.

            - Spread the pesto chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the buns.

              - Drizzle the mayonnaise mixture over the chicken.

                - Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.

                  Finish with Top Buns: Place the top halves of the buns on top, pressing down gently.

                    Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.

                      Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Slice and serve warm for the best pull-apart effect!
