Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup thinly sliced ribeye steak

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the Steak: In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced ribeye steak, cooking until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the chopped onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Fill the Breadsticks: Cut the dough into long strips, about 2 inches wide. Spoon some of the steak and vegetable mixture onto the center of each strip. Top with a sprinkle of both provolone and mozzarella cheese.

Seal the Breadsticks: Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly. Transfer the stuffed breadsticks to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the stuffed dough with the beaten egg to give a golden finish.

Season: Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the breadsticks for extra flavor.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.

Serve: Once baked, take them out of the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, then cut into pieces. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35-40 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the cheesy breadsticks warm on a wooden board, paired with marinara sauce for dipping. Add a sprinkle of extra parsley for a pop of color!
