Ingredients

4 large pita bread pockets

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for a cheesy flavor)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the pita bread into triangles or strips, depending on your preference. Each pocket can be cut into 8 wedges.

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper. If you’re adding Parmesan cheese, include it in this mix as well.

Brush the olive oil and herb mixture onto both sides of each pita chip, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Arrange the coated pita chips in a single layer on a baking sheet. Take care not to overcrowd the pan for even crisping.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Remove the pita chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.

Serve with your favorite dips like hummus, tzatziki, or guacamole.
