Ingredients

1 cup pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle (about 1/4-inch thick).

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Distribute the pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if desired) over the toppings.

Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seams to seal.

With a sharp knife, slice the rolled dough into bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 inches thick).

Place the pizza rolls on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up, and brush the tops with olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
