12 slider buns

1 cup marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup diced bell peppers (red and green)

½ cup diced onions

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning together. Brush this mixture on the top of each slider bun.

      Cut the slider buns in half and lay the bottom halves in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

        Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the bottom buns.

          Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

            Add slices of pepperoni evenly over the cheese.

              Scatter the diced bell peppers and onions over the pepperoni.

                Top with another layer of mozzarella cheese, ensuring it's well-covered.

                  Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese and toppings.

                    Brush the tops of the buns once more with any remaining olive oil mixture for added flavor and a beautiful finish.

                      Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

                        Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.

                          Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

                            Slice into individual sliders and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

                              Serve warm with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping!
