Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced

2 cups cooked ham, diced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and ranch dressing. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a creamy ranch sauce.

Layer half of the sliced potatoes evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish. Follow with half of the diced ham and half of the chopped onion.

Pour half of the ranch sauce over this layer, and then sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, ham, onions, ranch sauce, and finish with the rest of the cheddar cheese.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
