Ingredients

1 cup water

2 tablespoons dried hibiscus petals

1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

1/2 cup fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)

2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes (optional for iced version)

Instructions

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the dried hibiscus petals. Reduce the heat and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes until the water is deep red and fragrant.

Strain the hibiscus tea through a fine mesh sieve into a heatproof pitcher, discarding the petals.

In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. If desired, strain the raspberry puree to remove seeds.

In a separate small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling. Froth it using a milk frother or whisk until airy and smooth.

To assemble, pour a layer of raspberry puree into a glass, followed by the hibiscus tea. Top it off with warm frothed almond milk.

For an iced version, pour the hibiscus tea and raspberry puree over ice before adding the frothed milk.

Garnish with a few whole raspberries on top and a sprinkle of dried hibiscus petals for an elegant touch.
