Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

8-10 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine the cut chicken breast with olive oil, salt, pepper, and half of the barbecue sauce. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

While the chicken marinates, prepare your skewers. Start by threading a piece of chicken onto a skewer, followed by a strawberry, then a mozzarella ball, and repeat the process until all ingredients are used, leaving a small space at each end for handling.

Preheat your grill to medium heat.

Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on the grill and brush them with the remaining barbecue sauce. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.

During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle the chopped fresh basil on top of the skewers for added flavor and aroma.

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

              Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4

                - Presentation Tips: Arrange the skewers on a large platter lined with fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with a bit more barbecue sauce for color. You can serve them with extra strawberries and mozzarella balls on the side for a festive touch!
