2 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled

1 medium tomato, diced

1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped

4 slices of whole wheat or sourdough bread

Optional: sliced avocado for added creaminess

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken breast, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

    Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, diced tomato, and chopped romaine lettuce, making sure not to mangle the lettuce too much.

      If using, layer a few slices of avocado on the bread slices.

        Generously spread the chicken salad mixture onto two slices of bread. Top with the remaining slices to create sandwiches.

          For a crunchy finish, grill the sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.

            Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately with your favorite chips or a side salad.
