Ingredients

4 pieces roti prata or flatbread

1/2 pound ground beef (or chicken)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

In a bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Set aside.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.

Take one roti prata and place it in the skillet. Allow it to warm for about 1-2 minutes.

Spoon a portion of the meat mixture onto one half of the roti prata. Fold the other half over the filling to create a semi-circle.

Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until browned and the meat is fully cooked.

Repeat steps 4-6 for the remaining roti prata and filling.

Once cooked, remove the roti john from the skillet and place it on a cutting board. Cut into wedges.

Drizzle with a bit of mayonnaise (if using) and sprinkle the chopped cilantro on top for garnish.
