Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 large egg

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups marinara sauce

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Olive oil for frying

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, making about 12-15, depending on your preferred size.

Heat a generous swirl of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Brown the meatballs on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Rotate them gently for even cooking.

After browning, carefully add the marinara sauce to the skillet, covering the meatballs completely. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.

Serve the skillet meatballs hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves on top.
