1 box strawberry cake mix

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup powdered sugar (for the filling)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

      - Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until the dough is smooth and fully incorporated.

            - Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. This will make it easier to handle.

              Preheat the Oven:
