Ingredients

For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast

½ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp salt

½ cup whole milk

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup granulated sugar

1 egg yolk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

      Knead and Rise:

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 6-8 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

          Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently to combine.

              Roll Out the Dough:

Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and roll it into a large rectangle (about 14x18 inches).

                  Spread the Filling:

Evenly spread the cheesecake filling over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

                      Form the Rolls:

Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

                          Second Rise:

Place the rolls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, cover, and allow them to rise for another 30 minutes until puffy.

                              Bake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

                                  Prepare the Glaze:

While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the thickness of the glaze by adding more milk or powdered sugar as needed.

                                      Glaze the Rolls:

Once the rolls are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.

                                          Serve:

Enjoy warm for breakfast, dessert, or a delightful treat alongside your afternoon coffee!
