Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)

1 teaspoon matcha powder

1/2 cup hot water (not boiling)

Ice cubes (for an iced version)

Optional: whipped cream for topping

Instructions

In a blender, combine the sliced fresh strawberries and honey (or maple syrup). Blend until smooth. If desired, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds for a smoother texture. Set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until fully dissolved and frothy. Make sure there are no lumps.

If you prefer an iced latte, fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the milk first, and then layer the strawberry puree on top.

Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the strawberry layer, watching the beautiful colors blend.

For a hot version, simply heat the milk in a saucepan (do not boil) and follow the same layering process with the strawberry puree and matcha.

Optional: Top the latte with a dollop of whipped cream for an added indulgence.

                - Presentation Tips: Serve in a clear glass to showcase the vibrant layers and colors, garnished with a fresh strawberry on the rim for an elegant touch.
