1 lb ground beef

1 lb ground pork

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 large eggs

1 tsp allspice powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork.

Add breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, eggs, allspice, salt, and black pepper to the meat mixture.

Pour in the milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix everything together until well combined, but avoid over-mixing to keep it tender.

Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it gently into a loaf form.

In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup ketchup with 1 tablespoon mustard and spread it evenly over the top of the meatloaf for a nice glaze.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Once cooked, let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to retain its juices.

Serve hot with creamy mashed potatoes and a side of lingonberry sauce for an authentic touch.
