Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, ginger, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will be your marinade.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet generously with the sweet chili garlic sauce mixture, reserving some sauce for later.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired doneness.
In the last 2 minutes of baking, switch the oven to broil and move the salmon to a higher rack to caramelize the glaze on top. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle the reserved sauce over the top for extra flavor.
Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness and spiciness of the sauce to your preference.
