1/2 cup water

1/4 cup agave syrup (or honey)

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional, for a spicier kick)

1 cup ice cubes

Lime wedges and sea salt for rimming the glasses

Prepare the Tamarind Base: In a small saucepan, combine the tamarind pulp and water. Bring it to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the pulp dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.
