Ingredients

4 slices of Texas toast

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup diced bell peppers

½ cup sliced black olives

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Parmesan cheese for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture generously over both sides of the Texas toast slices.

Toast the Texas Toast: Place the Texas toast on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown on the edges.

Assemble the Pizzas: Remove the Texas toast from the oven. Spread a layer of marinara sauce over each slice, leaving a little edge for the crust. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

Add Toppings: Distribute the pepperoni, bell peppers, and sliced olives evenly over the cheese.

Bake: Return the loaded Texas toast pizzas to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Slice and serve warm.
