Ingredients
  

9 lasagna noodles (no-boil)

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups marinara sauce

1 egg

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Mix Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.

      Layer the Ingredients: In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

        Add Cheese Mixture: Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Top it with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese and 1/3 of the marinara sauce.

          Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process: add another layer of noodles, the remaining ricotta mixture, another 1/3 of the mozzarella, and another 1/3 of marinara sauce. Top with the last 3 noodles, the remaining marinara sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

            Bake the Lasagna: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

              Cool and Serve: Allow the lasagna to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
